It’s handy for small transplants and beginner gardeners. I wouldn’t use it in super hard dirt without loosening the soil first
The handle grip is comfortable
Easy to use and feels sturdy
I used this in a planter box and in the backyard bed and it worked best in softer soil. The tool feels sturdy enough and didn’t bend or flex while making holes. idk if it’s for every single soil type, but for normal transplanting it’s been helpful
This worked nicely in my raised garden bed. The soil was soft and the tool made quick holes with hardly any effort
